Four conversations

one a week, in order
01Week one

How we are programmed and brainwashed

Imagine a cult. Now imagine being born into it.

School, the TV that was always on, the feed, the parents who were programmed before us. Most of what runs our lives was installed before we were old enough to agree to it. We start with where it came from.

02Week two

The power of deprogramming

A program only runs while nobody is looking.

Cut the inputs, watch what comes up, write it down. The moment you notice the reach for the phone, it stops being a habit and becomes a choice. What happens when you stop fighting the pattern and start watching it.

03Week three

The power of reprogramming

You were programmed. Which means you are programmable.

Once you can see what was installed, you get to choose what runs next. Beliefs you pick on purpose, goals that are yours, and how to tell the difference.

04Week four

The environment that holds you

It's not a discipline problem. It's an environment problem.

In 1971 nearly one in five American soldiers in Vietnam was using heroin. When they came home, almost all of them just stopped. Nothing about them changed. The room did. So what is your room doing to you?

House rules

1What's said in the room stays in the room.
2You'll always be asked, never called on.
3No filming anyone's private story.
4Disagree out loud. It's your discernment what you take home.
Eight Wednesdays · Two cities

Come for the topic. Stay for the room.

One hour with strangers who have been thinking what you have been thinking. Nobody performing, nobody selling, nothing to prepare. Bring a friend or come alone.

Free, every Wednesday.
